FAQ

Each reusable towel can be used for up to 9 months. However, depending on use, most people prefer to switch them out every 3-6 months.

For everyday cleanliness we recommend using soap and water to wash your eco-friendly towels. For a deeper clean, place the towel on the top rack of the dishwasher, wring it out when the cycle is done, and hang it to dry with the Prickly Pear hanging clip. You can also add your washable paper towel to a load of laundry. Hang dry only.

Prickly Pear offers two sizes, large and small. Our large size is 7.8 x 9.8 inches, and our small size is 6.7 x 7.6 inches. We recommend going large for bigger messes like spills and highchairs and using the small size for everyday counter cleanups or washing dishes.

One reusable paper towel can be washed up to 200 times – replacing 17 paper towel rolls! It is estimated that in the United States alone, each household uses 147 paper towel rolls annually, which would be equal to about 9 reusable paper towels. Reusable towels are also more absorbent and durable than traditional paper towels.

Some of our top places to hang our reusable paper towels are on the backsplash in the kitchen, next to the sink to replace that smelly sponge, a low hanging clip for little ones to reach, or in the bathroom for everyday wipe downs.

Yes! Prickly Pear reusable paper towels are compatible with any household cleaning product, or you can just use water. When using cleaning products, be sure to rinse your reusable paper towel with soap and water when you’re done.
